About Emerson Cardiovascular Associates

At Emerson Cardiovascular Associates, the cardiologists—Stephen Dyda, DO, and Benjamin Tillinger, MD—and staff work together as a team—a team that gets to know you and is committed to your good health. As cardiovascular specialists, our expertise includes diseases of the heart, as well as the vascular system—the blood vessels. We have special training in diagnosing and treating the full range of conditions, and we emphasize prevention strategies designed to keep you in the best possible health.

We provide care in our office, as well as at Emerson Hospital, which is located across Route 2, just a couple of minutes away. Dr. Dyda also has office hours at the Emerson Hospital Center in Westford on Tuesday mornings.

For the convenience of our patients, our office features extensive cardiac testing, including EKG, ambulatory (Holter) monitoring, exercise stress tests and echocardiograms. Dr. Dyda is director of nuclear cardiology at Emerson Hospital; Dr. Tillinger is director of echocardiography. Our staff is certified and experienced in conducting these tests.

If you are admitted to Emerson Hospital for additional diagnostic testing or treatment, either Dr. Dyda or Dr. Tillinger will be at Emerson to check on your care as needed.

The most important aspect of cardiology care is the training and skills of your doctor. Dr. Dyda and Dr. Tillinger are each fellowship-trained cardiologists who emphasize prevention as a key strategy. Both are board-certified in cardiovascular medicine and nuclear cardiology; Dr. Tillinger is also board-certified in echocardiography and performs diagnostic cardiac catheterization at Lahey Clinic. We use the most current technology for diagnosis and treatment.

Regardless of your age, please contact us if you require diagnostic testing, a consultation on your heart risk factors or ongoing care that is designed to help prevent heart disease or help you to live well with your condition.

“It’s a great era in which to practice cardiology, because we have so much to offer our patients.”

“We have many more options for treatment—to prevent cardiovascular events, to treat those that occur and to enhance recovery.”
