Our specially trained testing staff include:
Gail Bruhn, BAA – Exercise Physiologist
Gail is an exercise physiologist who performs EKG tests, one of the most common tests for cardiology patients. She also performs our exercise stress testing, including stress echocardiograms, in which patients exercise on a treadmill. In addition, Gail assists the physicians with history-taking and exams, including blood pressure monitoring, Holter-monitoring and pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) evaluations.
Pamela Kelleher, RDCS – Cardiac Sonographer
Pam, a registered cardiac ultrasound technologist, specializes in performing echocardiograms—testing that uses ultrasound to produce images of the heart. Commonly referred to as an “echo,” it is one of the most widely used diagnostic tests for heart disease. Pam also performs stress echocardiograms, which often are done before and after patients walk on a treadmill, and studies that assess the heart for structural problems.
